25 to-make

I decided that for my 2009 New Years resolution I would come up with 25 things to make that I’d never made before. Originally I wanted to do 100, until I realized how much time in the kitchen that would be. 25 it is! As I come up with more ideas I’ll add them to the list.

Edited January 2010 to add: Unfortunately I didn’t make it through all 25 recipes in 2009. Now I hope to have them completed by the end of this year!

I have an old family recipe for cinnamon rolls, if you need one. Busha used to make huge batches in the church kitchen for St. Francis bake sales, and they always sold out.

Ribs and truffles are both really easy. You could even do ribs on the grill now while it’s too hot to be baking!
I haven’t made biscotti in years; I think I should for Christmas again this year.
Oh, and when you make the carrot cake, let me know; I’ll head right over. :)

  4. I love seeing people’s cooking goals. I have been trying to make a list of things to make/techniques to try. I have an awesome recipe for Zucchini bread if you are interested!
