Apple butter

Ingredients:

6lbs of apples, peeled and cored

1/4 cup brown sugar (heavily packed)

1/4 cup apple cider

1/4 tsp cloves

1/2- 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

Put apples, cider and spices into crock pot. Cook on high for 1-2 hours, then lower to low heat and cook for 7-8 more hours or until apples are tender. Puree or blend for a smoother consistency.
